If you are in the following locations, you are applicable to request to host a clinic on the corresponding dates. Information below is subject to change until the clinic is confirmed. This page can and will change frequently, so please check back to confirm your date is still available before requesting to host a clinic.

 

**If you are interested in hosting a clinic in one of these locations during the available dates, please send an email to clinics@carsonjameshorsemanship.com and tell us the dates you'd like to have your clinic. **Before you contact us, please read the host responsibilities below to ensure you are willing and able to be a host. ** The clinic must be in a covered arena large enough to accommodate the number of participants. *** Both (2) forms at the bottom of this page must be filled out and sent back to us before we can confirm your clinic date after you have requested it. 1. Carson James Horsemanship charges four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500.00) for a two (2) day Clinic, which is approximately sixteen (16) hours of instruction. 2. Carson James Horsemanship and the Host will agree on the proposed date for the Clinic.  The proposed date will be reserved for the Host so long as the subsequent conditions are met. The Host must provide Carson James Horsemanship with a non-refundable one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) deposit no later than ninety (90) calendar days prior to the date of the Clinic.  If Carson James Horsemanship does not receive such non-refundable one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) deposit at least ninety (90) calendar days prior to the date of the Clinic, Carson James Horsemanship will no longer reserve such proposed date for the Host 3. The Host must provide Carson James Horsemanship with the remaining amount owed for the Clinic, which is three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00), no later than sixty (60) calendar days prior to the date of the Clinic. 4. If Carson James Horsemanship travels to the Clinic by way of driving, in order to receive a refund of three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00), the Host must provide Carson James Horsemanship with written notice of cancellation of the Clinic no later than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the date of the Clinic. If the Host fails to provide Carson James Horsemanship with written notice of cancellation of the Clinic at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the date of the Clinic, Carson James Horsemanship shall retain an additional one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). In such instance, Carson James Horsemanship would refund the Host an amount equal to two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00). 5. If Carson James Horsemanship travels to the Clinic by way of air transportation, in order to receive a refund of three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00), the Host must provide Carson James Horsemanship with written notice of cancellation of the Clinic no later than sixty (60) calendar days prior to the date of the Clinic. If the Host fails to provide Carson James Horsemanship with written notice of cancellation of the Clinic at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to the date of the Clinic, Carson James Horsemanship shall retain an additional one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). In such instance, Carson James Horsemanship would refund the Host an amount equal to two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00). 6. The Host has full discretion on the amount to charge participants and auditors. Carson James Horsemanship does not request any additional compensation for the Clinic above the flat fee stated in paragraph (1). *(You set your own price for participants and auditors (if you chose to charge auditors) Example: With 15 participants at $400 each for a two-day clinic, the event pays for itself. Carson James Horsemanship’s fee is $4,500, so that leaves $1,500 to cover expenses. We don’t take any percentage or any cuts from the profits you make from your clinic. You are more than welcome to set the participant price for your clinic in such a way that you will make a profit. 7. Carson James Horsemanship will not provide any participant or auditor with a refund. It is the Host’s responsibility to handle all questions, concerns, or issues pertaining to participant or auditor refund requests. 8. Carson James Horsemanship will start the Clinic at approximately 8:30 a.m. and end the Clinic at approximately 5:00 p.m. A lunch break of approximately one hour is scheduled to occur at around 12:00 p.m., but may be earlier or later depending on how the Clinic is progressing. Although the Clinic is scheduled to end at 5:00 p.m., it may run over by approximately ten (10) to twenty (20) minutes. 9. The Host may request a different start time or end time than those stated above in paragraph (8), but Carson James Horsemanship must approve any changes to start time or end time in writing. 10. If possible, Carson James Horsemanship will set-up a table the morning of the first day of the Clinic so that participants and auditors can sign the required waiver(s). Once a participant or auditor signs the required waiver(s), such participant or auditor will receive a green arm band. 11. On the first day of the Clinic, the participants and auditors can arrive at the Clinic Facility as early as 7:30 a.m. to sign the required waiver(s). If on the day before the Clinic, a participant or auditor has arrived at the Clinic Facility and Carson James Horsemanship has also arrived, such participant or auditor may complete the required waiver(s) at that time. 12. A majority of required waiver(s) can be found on www.CarsonJamesHorsemanship.com 13. Carson James Horsemanship is not responsible for additional fees that may be required of the Host or the owner of the Clinic Facility, including but not limited to: haul in fee, stall fees, participant’s RV utilities, etc. 14. All participants must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Any participant under the age of majority in the State in which the Clinic is provided by the Host, must be equipped with appropriate riding attire including an ASTM/SEI approved and fastened riding helmet when mounted. 15. Participants and auditors are strictly prohibited from using or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs during the Clinic. 16. Carson James Horsemanship reserves the right, and has the full discretion to dismiss any participant or auditor from the Clinic if such participant or auditor is deemed a danger to themselves or others whether through such participant or auditor’s actions or attitude. 17. From the start of the Clinic until the end of the Clinic, Carson James Horsemanship has full discretion on the teaching methods and training tools it employs. 18. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as the laws of that State allow. If any portion thereof is held invalid, the remainder of the agreement shall continue in full legal force and effect and that if legal action related to this agreement is brought, it must be brought in an appropriate court of jurisdiction in the State of Florida. Host Responsibilities 19. The Host must gain permission and authorization from the owner of the Clinic Facility to use the Clinic Facility for the Clinic. 20. The Host is responsible to ensure that the owner of the Clinic Facility signs the required waiver. 21. The Host must make certain that the Clinic Facility is safe and suitable to hold the Clinic, and that the footing where the Clinic is to be held is sufficient in quality and does not pose a hazard to any participant. 22. The Host must make certain that the Clinic Facility has functioning RV hookups that are accessible to Carson James Horsemanship. The RV power outlet must have at least thirty (30) amps. 23. The Host must make certain that the Clinic Facility has functioning power and water hookups, which are accessible and available for Carson James Horsemanship’s trailer. 24. The Host shall make certain that a functioning sound system is available at the Clinic Facility for use during the Clinic. 25. The Host should be present during the entire duration of the Clinic. If the Host cannot be present during the entire duration of the Clinic, the Host must appoint someone who is at least eighteen (18) years of age to oversee the Clinic during any time the Host is not present. 26. The Host is responsible for registering all participants and auditors. 27. The Host is responsible for collecting clinic fees from the participants and auditors. 28. The Host is responsible for addressing and deciding any questions regarding participant or auditor refunds, and providing such participant or auditor with a refund, if applicable. 29. The Host shall make certain that Carson James Horsemanship is aware of any participants who bring a stallion. This is to ensure that proper safeguards are taken into consideration in order to separate a stallion from any mare in heat. 30. The Host shall make certain that there are no more than fifteen (15) to seventeen (17) participants in each Clinic, unless prior written authorization is received from Carson James Horsemanship. The limitation on the number of participants is essential so that Carson James Horsemanship can provide each participant with ample time and individual attention. 31. The Host may allow an unlimited number of auditors to be present at the Clinic. However, the Host shall make certain to provide ample seating at the Clinic Facility to accommodate the number of auditors, or the Host shall inform the auditors that seating will not be provided and they must bring their own chair. 32. The Host is responsible for answering all participant or auditor questions about the Clinic and the Clinic Facility. 33. The Host is responsible for providing participants and auditors with information such as amenities of the Clinic Facility, including but not limited to: stall availability, restroom availability, RV hookups, restaurant/lunch locations, local hotels, etc.) 34. The Host is responsible to make certain that the owner of the Clinic Facility, all participants, and all auditors have signed the required waiver(s). All participants and auditors under the age of majority in the State in which the Clinic is provided by the Host must sign a participant waiver and release of liability for Infant Participants or an auditor waiver and release of liability for Infant Auditors, respectively. 35. The Host is responsible for promoting the Clinic on the Host’s website, if any, and wherever else the Host chooses. Carson James Horsemanship Responsibilities 36. In order to promote the Clinic, Carson James Horsemanship will advertise the Clinic on www.CarsonJamesHorsemanship.com and send information about the Clinic through its e-mail subscription list of over seventy-five thousand (75,000) horse owners. 37. Carson James Horsemanship will provide a wireless microphone for its use during the Clinic. 38. Carson James Horsemanship promises to assist all participants that enter the arena at the Clinic Facility to the best of its ability. 39. On the morning of the first day of the Clinic, if possible, Carson James Horsemanship will set-up a table at the Clinic Facility to accommodate the signing of all required waiver(s) and/or other required documents by each auditor and each participant. However, it is the Host’s responsibility to make certain that each auditor and each participant signs all required waiver(s) and/or other required documents. This is your clinic. You are simply hiring Carson as a special guest to perform at the Clinic Facility, which is your chosen location. Carson is in charge of his own teaching methods from the time he starts the clinic to the end of the clinic time.
